#2900 Float Switches
The #2900 float switches are most commonly used in tanks or basins with three floats connected to a junction box which is, in turn, connected to a control panel. The diagram below shows a typical multiple float switch system design. These three floats control the levels in the tank by turning "on" or "off" as the fluid levels rise and fall. The bottom pump off float latches the holding relay on water rise, the pump on float then rises and runs pump until the bottom float drops out releasing the holding relay. These floats work well with low voltage, intrinsically safe circuits. They are used in many different applications wherever fluid levels need to be monitored including sump pump basins, sewage basins, cisterns, septic tanks, chemical solution tanks and more. The #2900 float switches replace air bubbler systems, transducers, diaphragm switches, ultrasonic and electrode systems. All can be used in residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and municipal applications.

Conery Float Brackets
Float switch brackets are used to keep floats at the desired level and also keeps the float cords from tangling in tanks which could cause malfunctions. The bracket is mounted inside a tank or basin about 1/3 to 1/2 the distance from the top of the tank. A bracket can be mounted at the top of a tank and will still hold the floats at their desired levels but the chance of tangling is much greater than if mounted somewhat further down into the tank. Mounting a bracket at the top of a tank makes for easier servicing but we always recommend that brackets be mounted at least 1/3 of the distance down into the tank. Since the inside of tanks can often have corrosive environments, all Conery Manufacturing brackets are made of non-corrosive stainless steel for lasting durability.

Conery Alarm Systems
Alarm systems are to be used whenever liquid levels need to be monitored. In the event of pump malfunction, power loss or circuit failure, a system of lights and audible alarms can alert the resident or service personnel of the problem. Alarm systems are recommended in most residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and municipal applications for the monitoring of sump pump basins, sewage basins, cisterns, septic tanks, chemical solution tanks and more.

Conery Junction Boxes
Junction boxes are used in many types of tanks where cord connections need to be made because the pump and float switch cords are not long enough to reach the control panel. These junctions boxes are constructed of a tough poly material and are rated as NEMA 4X suitable for outdoor installations. Most junction boxes are mounted inside or just outside a tank or basin. Please refer to the diagram above for the proper location and use of a typical junction box.
