Sludge and Septage Dewatering System

The DeTainer is the complete solids handling solution for small wastewater treatment plants or septage haulers. The container eliminates the need for liquid sludge storage, dewatering equipment and sludge cake storage areas.

The dewatering process is simple. First a polymer is added to the sludge and pumped into the container. The polymer helps to separate the liquid from the solids. The solids are held in the container by the filter screen while the free water drains out of the container. Up to 20,000 gallons of liquid can be dewatered in one day, or the container can be filled slowly, as sludge is generated by the treatment plant. Once the container is full, call in a roll-off truck and have your sludge cake hauled away.
